I just downloaded Fedora-14-i686-Live-Desktop.iso from
http://fedoraproject.org/get-fedora and used the LiveUSB Creator (Windows version) to create a LiveUSB just as I have been doing for the last year for F12.
When I boot the system the bios splash screen is displayed as usual. Then the system hangs with the following message on the display:
SYSLINUX 3.01 1009-05-29 EBIOS Copyright (C) 1994-2009 H. Peter Arvin et al
It hangs here and never completes the boot process.
I have tried 3 different laptops (Sony VAIO, Dell D630, and IBM T60) and they all exhibit this issue.
I have also burned the image to two different USB devices but this did not resolve the issue.
I have used two different versions for the LiveUSB Creator (3.9.1 & 3.9.2) but this did not resolve the issue.
I have downloaded the ISO file a second time but still not able to resolve this issue.
Anybody seen this before?
