Exclamation how to attach screenshot an area of the screen with keyboard shortcut?

I just want to grab an area of the screen with keyboard shortcut.
These are my steps.
Code:
System-preference-Keyboard shortcut.
Press ADD,and fill the command :"gnome-screenshot -a" in the blank.
Unfortunatily, the parameter "-a" does not work.
anybody know why?
any help will be appreciate!
