Unhappy ICAClient plug-in not recognized by Firefox x86_64

I have downloaded and installed ICAClient-11.100-1.i386.rpm from citrix.com on my Fedora 14 x86_64

npica.so gets installed in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

After activating "mozilla-plugin-config -i" as root, the Citrix plug-in is not listed in Firefox aboutlugins window.

"mozilla-plugin-config --check" gives nothing

Output of "mozilla-plugin-config -L" :

EXCLUDE_WRAP:
libtotem*
libjavaplugin*
gecko-mediaplayer*
mplayerplug-in*
librhythmbox*
packagekit*

Re: ICAClient plug-in not recognized by Firefox x86_64

Hello JCFedora

what I did to be able to open .ica files from firefox after install icaclient (also worked with chrome), was just downloaded the .ica file from my citrix website then into downloads folder I selected it, right click and "open with", you have to choose /usr/lib/ICAClient/wfica.sh and don't forget check "remember selection" then every time you visit your citrix webpage after clicking on a .ica resource file it will be automatically opened with citrix, in fact you will see the citrix receiver splash image appearing.
I also created links to plugins folders for firefox and chrome but I'm sure it does not make any difference.
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/ICAClient/npica.so /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/npica.so

hope it helps

regards
