keybord error

ok i cant set my keyboard so that when i hold down a key it types that key a lot of times, eg

if i hold down e i get
e

but i want to get
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

so i went to preferences - keyboard and when i try to change a setting i get this message
