Fedora 11 doesn't "see" second hard drive

I want to put Fedora 14 on a new hard drive, but Fedora 11 (my current OS) doesn't know it's there, and it isn't seen by the Fedora 14 installation program either.

Do I have to make it known to my current OS in order for F14 to install to it? If so, how do I do that? If not, how can I install F14 to my new drive?

Thanks!
