Question

Samba shares available only after OKing them in Samba server config tool

This F13 box has several shares, but they are not visible after reboot until I go back into server configuration, open at least one of them and OK the window. Then they all become visible until another reboot.

Please help!

Try running this as root, without the quotes: 'chkconfig smb on', and see if it runs after restart.
