Re: movie player not work with all type

Run this in a terminal then try again.

Code:
su -c 'yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm'

Re: movie player not work with all type

Fedora is American based, and it's not legal to include all codecs. In addition, (this is stated somewhere on the project page) Fedora aims to be entirely opensource and many of the necessary codecs aren't open source. In practice, I suspect a large number of Fedora users, perhaps the majority, make use of rpmfusion and other repositories that aren't completely opensource.

So, Fedora won't do this by default, because they *are* aiming to be completely opensource, and even if they wanted to, they couldn't, at least not legally.

completely legal, just not 100% open source, you might also want to close your file browser before taking a screenshot

Re: movie player not work with all type

You might be interested in Mplayer, a lot of people prefer it to Totem. Just do this
Code:
yum install gnome-mplayer
and then install autoten, which can set up a lot of the programs that Fedora doesn't include.
Have it set up the all codecs for you. That's the easy way to set up flash, mp3 support, etc.
