A partition recommendation...

If /dev/sda3 contains nothing important, then start the installation and choose the partitioning option "Create custom layout". In the disk druid that appears next, select that /dev/sda3 NTFS partition and click "Delete" (which will destroy the data in /dev/sda3 when the write-to-disk step occurs soon after). Next select the resulting free space and click "New". A pop-up appears. Choose "/" for the mount point (for a single root partition like you have for Ubuntu). Choose the filesystem type (you decide). Finish with the other business in the pop-up and click "OK". Anaconda, the Fedora installer, will find the existing swap and use it. You don't have to do anything to make that happen. It just will. Continue on and agree to writing the changes to disk (which will destroy whatever is now on /dev/sda3).

A boot loader recommendation...

I recommend that you choose the boot loader option that will install Fedora's GRUB boot loader in the first sector of the Fedora boot partition (it will install it in the first sector of the root partition in your case). That will leave intact your existing boot loader arrangement. After the installation, take steps to add Fedora to the existing boot loader's menu. If it's Ubuntu and GRUB 2, then the update-grub command may just do that for you. Anyway, to install GRUB in the Fedora partition's boot sector, watch for and click the "Change device" button. A pop-up appears with an obvious choice. When the pop-up closes, you can see in the checked box where GRUB is about to be installed. It should now say /dev/sda3. Click "Next".

Finish. Reboot. Tweak the boot loader situation.

This is not the only. Just my way. I will leave it to others to describe other ideas.
