SOLVED -- Flash Player 64 bit

Greetings,
Has anyone gotten Flash Player to work for 64bit F14? I have found the code for when I got it working for F13 but it trashed my F14.
Thanks.

Re: Flash Player 64 bit

When I updated to F14 rawhide, I was using the 64 bit flash plugin. I installed it under F13 using leigh123linux's guide. It ran for a couple of months under F14 rawhide before I finally bit the bullet and installed the more secure 32 bit version. There is a security issue with the 64 bit version, so you might consider using the 32 bit version.

Re: Flash Player 64 bit

Does the 32 bit install work, from the f13 into f14?
Thanks for your info!

Re: Flash Player 64 bit

Since the 64 bit install worked from F13 to F14, I can't see any reason that the 32 bit wouldn't. If you look around, there's a very good thread on installing the 32 bit plug in on 64 bit Fedora on the forums.

Re: Flash Player 64 bit

Thanks for the link. I have not been feeling well the past few weeks and some things have eluded me (searching skills?)

I wanted to report that following the above directions I got flash player working.
I downloaded the repository.
Got it installed.
then I installed the software using yumex.
I then followed the instructions for the 32 bit.

And Presto Chango ---It worked, just in time for a teaching program I needed to see.

Thanks to every one.
