hp deskjet 722c no print

My house was recently robbed, and my main printing computer (Windows) has been stolen. I am trying to get Linux to print using an HP Deskjet 772C printer. I downloaded pnm2ppa (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pnm2ppa/) and I *think* I installed it correctly with a simple

su
make
make install

When I go into printer config, it knows the printer is there, and when I select with printer driver to use, FC2 chooses pnm2ppa automatically, so it seems the drivers installed correctly. When it printers a test page, nothing happens and it says something like "Does it look right?". I also tried printing via Ximian and OpenOffice. Nothing happened. I am thinking of giving up on it, because I am getting a replacement computer, but I would like it to print anyways.

Ouch. Hope you can get a replacement soon.

I believe that driver already comes with Fedora.
