Auto-Hide Panel will not "un-hide" ?
Hello.,
I just moved my bottom panel to the right side of the screen and set it to auto-hide., The panel hid it'self but will not un-hide when I move the mouse to the edge of the screen... I tried to re-boot, but the panel is still "stuck"
Is there an easy way to fix this? Or will I have to manualy delete the panel and make a new one?

Applications-->Configuration Editor (if you don't have it "yum install gconf-editor")-->apps-->panel-->default_setup-->toplevels-->bottom_panel-->uncheck auto_hide

Re: Auto-Hide Panel will not "un-hide" ??
Thanx anyway., But I just edited the panel files manualy to un-hide the panel...
But still for some reason ANY panel I place on the right side of my screen will get "stuck" if set to autohide., Yet autohide works fine on top, bottom, and left... Weird huh?

I'm running Desktop Effects, but I'm not sure about Compiz-fusion., I didn't manualy install Compiz-fusion so i guess not. Unless it's a built in application, or was a dependency for some other software..
How can I check to see if I'm running Compiz-fusion?

Look at Desktop Effects, Your choices: Standard or Enhanced (Compiz). See which one is checked.

Oh, Yeah I'm using Compiz., I really like that "wobble" effect...
Could that have something to do with it??

The only way to know for sure is to set it to standard graphics and see if the problem goes away. You can always re-enable compiz afterwards.

Ayup. Try going (mousing) to either the very top or the very bottom of the hidden panel, and it should unhide normally.
I don't know what causes this, but it's a bug.

Yes the problem is being caused my Compiz., If I turn it off the panels function as the should... I tried the Top / Bottom solution but it didn't seem to work for me... I'll just leave them un-hidden.,
Thanks for the help

Them? First reduce the number of panels to one, if you want to save space
