[Solved] Loading kernel very slow

Hi,

I updated my system on last Friday.
Was installed a new kernel (2.6.32.14-127.fc12.i686.PAE) and now, when I start the system and load the service and show me the follow message:
Buildind modules for kernel version_kernel please wait ...

The system is approximately 2 minutes stopped.
What's happen ??

Ricardo

Re: Loading kernel very slow

Hi,

I ran (# lsmod | grep akmod) and show me nothing.
My video card's Intel i915 and installed with correct module (i915), not Nvidia card.

Any idea ??

Hi,

I saw /varlog/boot.log and showed this

Entering non-interactive startup
Applying Intel CPU microcode update: Running DKMS auto installation service for kernel 2.6.32.14-127.fc12.i686.PAE
Building modules for the 2.6.32.14-127.fc12.i686.PAE kernel, please wait... done.
ERROR: Build failed. Please review the build log at /var/run/alsa-driver.1188.log.
Original kernel modules will be used.

Any idea ??
