F13 x64: VLC quit working,

From messages I have:

abrt[5954]: saved core dump of pid 5951 (/usr/bin/vlc) to /var/cache/abrt/ccpp-1276615231- 951.new/coredump (10924032 bytes)
abrtd: Directory 'ccpp-1276615231-5951' creation detected
abrtd: Package 'vlc-core' isn't signed with proper key
abrtd: Corrupted or bad crash /var/cache/abrt/ccpp-1276615231-5951 (res:5), deleting

I uninstalled, reinstalled, VLC and rebooted.

Whats up with the key? I used yum to install and reinstall.

After starting vlc, It doesn't displaying anything on the screen.
It was working fine previously, I can't recall when I used it last.

Re: F13 x64: VLC quit working,

See this bug. There are several workarounds; you only have to use them once. After that, VLC will start normally.

Re: F13 x64: VLC quit working,

Thanks for the tip!

Running
Code:
MALLOC_CHECK_=1 vlc
From the command line once brought it back to life.

This issue is SOLVED
