Smile Get flash working with blogtv and online games

Adobe flash from the repos doesnt seem to work on some sites and I had a terrible time getting webcamstudio (in ubuntu, sorry) working on blogtv. I had a lot of clients complaining also about site games not working. So, I did some poking around at adobe some time ago and found a beta/alpha version of flash that did the job. On the adobe site it is very difficult to find if its even there anymore. So, I have it available from my little server located in the downloads area.

1. Go to parkit.dyndns.org and download the libflashplayer.so file in the downloads area.

2. Find the location of your already installed (yum install flash-plugin) libflashplayer.so file (locate libflashplayer.so) and replace it with this one.

Be sure NOT to replace the link to libflashplayer.so but the original install file. In fedora its located at

Quote:
/usr/lib/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so
Restart your browser and things should start working now.
