video problem in fedora 13 kde, no video format does work

Hello

I can't watch any video format avi nor mpg... the graphical mode crashes when I try to open any file.
I can access to tty2 when the graphical mode doesn't work.
xorg-intel driver and codecs are correctly installed.

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)

Thank you very much.

Unfortunately there is a bug (in the kernel ? ) that impacts many 855GM graphics devices, where the last kernel without the bug may have been the 2.6.27 kernel.

You can read up more on it here:
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showth...ighlight=855gm

You are welcome to join the bug fix testing by downloading the liveCD noted in that thread and test, and then after a few hours of running, if you have not had a problem/crash, post your result on the freedesktop bug thread that is tracking this problem. There is a fix-i855-cache-coherency-v9.patch that is being tested, and that fix is in the liveCD I noted. ... I should say further that I am NOT a Ubuntu fan (very far from it), but in this case this bug hits all distributions and it endeavors us to work together to solve this problem. If a Fedora liveCD were to be created with the patch, I would definitely test it.
