Where is Blackjack

I can't find blackjack anymore. Used to be gnome-blackjack. Now it is gone in Fedora 13. Does anyone know what happened to it and if it is going to be back?

Re: Where is Blackjack

Hi, I haven't installed F13 yet, but I was hunting for blackjack in F12 and eventually found it in gnome-games-extra. Check if that package is available in F13. Good luck!!

[joke]You old lady[/joke]

I think it is gone:
pkcon get-files gnome-games-extra | grep -i blackjack

But "yum provides *blackjack*" shows this one:

Code:
1:plt-scheme-4.1.2-3.fc12.x86_64 : Graphical environment for developing programs using Scheme
Repo : fedora
Matched from:
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/blackjack/blackjack.png
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/blackjack/compiled/info_ss.dep
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/blackjack/compiled/blackjack_ss.zo
Filename : /usr/share/plt/doc/master-index/blackjack.png
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/scribblings/blackjack.scrbl
Filename : /usr/share/plt/doc/games/blackjack.html
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/blackjack/info.ss
Filename : /usr/share/plt/doc/games/blackjack.png
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/blackjack/compiled
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/scribblings/compiled/blackjack_scrbl.zo
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/blackjack/blackjack.ss
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/blackjack/compiled/blackjack_ss.dep
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/blackjack
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/scribblings/compiled/blackjack_scrbl.dep
Filename : /usr/share/plt/doc/search/blackjack.png
Filename : /usr/lib64/plt/collects/games/blackjack/compiled/info_ss.zo
But I don't think it will work.

Still as a last resort if you can't live without it, you could try mame that I know have a lot of card games that come directly from the arcades or try softpedia which had some virus problems recently or the old version from koji that has blackjack.

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/b...buildID=147458 (I found this one but you could try finding others)

ps: is the gnome-games-extra-2.28.2-1.fc12.x86_64.rpm you need.

Re: Where is Blackjack

I have gnome-extra installed. I was hoping for the gnome version. But I guess that I will either have to live without it, or find the source code and build a new rpm for FC13. And that won't be happening anytime soon.

Re: Where is Blackjack

I've also just been wondering the same questions. Is the code just not being packaged at the moment?

Re: Where is Blackjack

Looks like it was dropped without much explanation (on their website) in the 2.29.1 release (NEWS file). Might look at finding the code and trying to build it.
