Empathy can't connect to Facebook Chat

Hi, anyone encountered this problem? In Fedora 13, Empathy 2.30.1-2 doesn't connect to Facebook Chat, giving just "Network error". Of course, I know that user must set his username in Facebook.

same here... cant login using my facebook...
but manage to connect with my gmail&hotmail acc

What's surprising, I was able to connect, when using Ubuntu 10.04 livecd (2.30.0.1 version of empathy).

I filed a bug and it seems to be repaired now.

It's fixed in empathy-2.30.1.1-1.fc13.i686. Most likely you'll need to delete and re-add your facebook account in empathy for the new server to be added to the acct.cfg.

I had the same problem with 2.30.3 and it was solved the way bpepple described it.

Delete and re-add your Facebook account.
