Question How to connect to a L2TP VPN Server

Hi.
I recently wanted to connect to a vpn server which its tunnelling mode is L2TP.
how I can configure my FC 12 to connect to this vpn server?I mean in which files I should enter that server's IP and my username and password.

I already tried Cisco Compatible VPN.but it requires a field to be filled ,called Group name.My VPN Provider didn't tell me about group name,and I think there should be a way to connect via command line,not GUI.
