ruby 1.8.7?

hi all!
can i update ruby version to 1.8.7 from 1.8.6 without rpm downloading? i mean i have rpm of ruby 1.8.7 but i dont want to install it because you know why (dependencies and etc).
when will be 1.8.7 available in standart repositories or maybe it is just another way to update?

Check F12 and 13 rawhide repos for new versions if you're desperate to have it (no idea what versions are available). If F13 has it, unless there are any dependency issues, it will install ok (and you may get away just few dependency packages).

F13 also have 1.8.6 atm (1.8.6.399), although I compiled 1.9.1p376 because I'm not using any gems right now where I could get version issues.
