[F12] Does Intel i915 Driver support the HDMI interface?

I'm trying to use a monitor on the HDMI port of my Asus laptop which has Intel integrated graphics.

It doesn't detect the monitor using the display utility.

Suggestions?

Re: [F12] Does Intel i915 Driver support the HDMI interface?

Anybody know how to install a driver for an Intel i815 that runs at better than 800x600? dmesg sees the chip, but the screen res is either a lame 800x600 or even lamer 640x480

Is it an X problem or hardware? Fedora 12 32-bit
