Fonts are complete crap in KDE

Please guys, this can't be hard to get right. Look at what Ubuntu does.

I saw the image and for me it looks fine.

Ubuntu 9.10, no Microsoft core fonts, zoom level is at default in Firefox

Fonts render much more crisply in the F13 alpha. Unfortunately, F13 is alpha.
