not able to install adobe flash plugin

Hi,

Using fedora11.....
Lately i downloaded adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch......from adobe..Following file is in Download folder.....

I get following errors when executed in terminal....

[anoop@localhost Download]$ su -c 'rpm -ivh adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm'

rpmdb: PANIC: fatal region error detected; run recovery
error: db4 error(-30974) from dbenv->open: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - (-30974)
error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm
warning: adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID f6777c67

Is there a simpler installion options like in windows?.........

Looks to me like you have bigger problems to solve than installing Flash Player: http://www.rpm.org/wiki/Docs/RpmRecovery

It sure looks like something has happened there, prior to the output shown, that has corrupted the RPM database. Either that, or your HDD is failing. It would help if you would describe any funky events leading up to this.
