Appearance Tool Adding Themes

Hello All,

I've got kind of a strange (at least to me) problem with the appearance tool. When I add a theme (like here) it always labels it as "Custom", never the correct name. Furthermore, when I install it, it will come up and function but if I want to load a different non-standard theme it will call it custom as well and over write the existing custom theme I see in appearance. They always load as custom, I thought maybe I could just reload it from the file I downloaded but after they're loaded once I get an error (Can't move directory over directory). I assume that means it's installed some place and that the GUI tool just isn't functioning correctly.

Also I loaded the echo theme , it loaded fine but again it doesn't show up in my appearance tool.

Perhaps there is a better way? Maybe the them tool is not the best way to do it?

Any help would be much apprciated
Thanks
Eric

when it says " custom" have you tried Renaming it to say "Fedora Echo-ic0n" cause there custom you can name them to you liking , , if you have a already installed theme an you wish to install another that clashes with the already installed one its ofcourse gonna over-write it.

if you have installed custom installed icons you must Open up Appearance > click Custom > click on the icon Tab an select it there.
