Question Xen enquiry

This is quite a broad thread I wanted to clarify something on.

I am getting to the point of my computer thats running Fedora crashing allot, I thank who ever it was who said they would possibly send me some more memory to help with this, but in reality I feel I would be wasting their time by doing that, as I fear eventually this would not be suffice to the problem, but thank you anyways (I will be putting this posters username to give thanks to them).

I am at the moment looking around for a low budget upgraded system when compared to what I have Fedora installed on at the moment.

My ideal idea, is to maybe cluster the 2 nodes, one new one and my old one possibly.

I have been looking at this refurbished Dell:

Has anyone had any experience maybe in saying if I can run Xen successfully on this type of computer, or maybe you know the motherboard and can suggest I can accomplish this.

I think from the research I have been doing I can upgrade to 4gb of RAM, which infact at the moment (as my traffic will be very low), as all this is an idea for is a staging server, like to show clients what I am doing and then port this onto their live substancial server if you like (from a hosting company or VPS, which ever live service they use).

Can someone give me some help, the best UK refurbished, cheap preferably at the very most about £70 I am prepared to spend.

Must be based in UK or offer cheap postage, but generally any advice is greatly appreciated.

All I want to do is be able to run maybe seperate services on Xen as I have been advised by the IT technician at work to do so.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

I look forward to any replies,
Jeremy.

PS I have also found this one:

Really dont know what I am doing with Xen so again any help would be wonderful!

You build images that boot on a hot machine.
At the least you need PAE within the kernel and 512M dedicated to each machine.

Find what the cpu flags are for the processor and you can then determine what virtualization platform can be used. KVM or Xen.
