Fedora kernel (monolitic or modular)

I have a question about the Fedora 12 default kernel:
Is it monolitic or is it a modular kernel?
And how do I know witch none is it?

The size is a give away. lol
It is monolithic but also uses kernel-modules.

he probably means to ask is it a microkernel or a monolithic kernel architecture?

I always thought that the textbook (or Wiki ) answer is that the Linux kernel - no matter what distro - is definitionally monolithic.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_k...nical_features

Being monolithic doesn't mean that it's not possible to load up additional modules.

It works. Isn't that good enough?

Thank you all for the answer. The wikipedia articles help to clarify the issue.
