Unhappy installation via FTP

I want to install fedora by using the network. I burned fedora core 2 unto a dvd. then I burned a bootcd with the boot code. Booting from the cd rom is fine and installation starts to load the software from my other PC (with the dvd). at a certain point it tried to read hdlist in the \fedora\base directory. "Could not read hdlist"
the ftp log is as follows

19:18:18.687 [3704] 250 "/fedora/base" is current directory.
19:18:18.687 [3704] TYPE I

what pub are you trying to use?

Try this
  1. Boot up the boot cd
  2. install via http
  3. site name put in distro.ibiblio.org
  4. for path put /pub/linux/distributions/fedora/linux/core/2/i386/os/Fedora
  5. If it don't find the stage2.img put /base on the end
  6. Wait for the stage2.img to dl and install

These steps are the same for FTP, I just found the Http mirrors were faster.

Hope this is what you were asking for. Enjoy
