sound is not audible....

i have installed almost all software to run songs and videos, and they r running cool bt they r not audible..
under Sound preferences > hardware tab there is no hardware choose to configure
>Input tab there is no device to configure sound input
>Output tab : Dummy output stereo

Plz tell me what to do guide me right.........

Looks like your sound card wasn't recognized or the driver is missing for some reason. Which Fedora release is this? Can you post the output of the following commands:

uname -a

lspci

lsmod

I got the same problem the sound is very low however the sound level in gnome is set to the max and in my speakers too
