read out loud of PDF file

Hi all,

This question is about accessibility of Fedora. Do you know how to read out loud of a PDF file? for example, open a PDF file, and then something automatically read from the top to bottom, left to right all the sentence in the file and then speak out loud. I am aware GNOME has ORCA, but don't know how to get it work with kpdf.

Thanks advance.

Luke

Kpdf seems to be obsolete now, but Okular has this option. It is in Tools-> Speak the whole document or Speak current page. The sound is quite clear but on my computer the sound dies after a few sentences. It is probably more to do with my sound card, though, or the fact that I removed pulseaudio.

Thanks for the reply, I tried Okula. It started well but as you said the sound died out after a few minutes.
