Urgent NFS help

Hi all

I've set up a RHEL5 server. One of these components is ldap. I was wanting to use nfs share the home directories to all the machines on the network. I found a document to do it but it says to edit the /etc/exports. Though when done it gives me a new document. The document is from Linux Home Networking.
