First of all, this is someone else's thread. You need to start your own for a different topic. In this case, I've split it off for you, but in the future, please select a Forum and then look for the New Thread button on the top left.
Now, as to your problem, if you're in a console, simply log in as root (su), give your password and then use "yum install packagename" Naturally, you'll substitute 'packagename' with what you're trying to install.
You really should check out the FedoraProject jump above and go to the notes on such things.
