'Move Window' key from ALT+LMB to META+LMB

argh how do I do it?

I wasted countless hours searching the help file and google

I have 3d packages I need to use but can't because of this

I am using F12, previously this was in a menu 'System>Preferences>Look&Feel' or Windows, but now I can't find it, do I have to edit a .conf file or .profile file for this or what

thanks for anyone who can point me in the right direction on this one.

Look in System-Preferences-Personal-Keyboard shortcuts for the 'move window' key. I assume this is what you need, although I thought that Meta = Alt and that LMB was a program

Thanks for the reply

It's not in the Keyboard Shortcuts, there is a key combination for move windows but this doesn't change the ALT+LMB function.

And just to clarify what I meant :-
LMB - Left Mouse Button
META - The 'Windows' button (usually situated between ctrl and alt)

I'm stuck using Windows again because of this and having Active Directory, Exchange Mail, VM Virtual Infrastructure not work with linux

Install the package control-center-extra, and then you will find the dialog in System->Preferences->Window where you can find the key assignment.

I should have guessed LMB, but the Windows "flag" keys are called Super in Linux.
