Smile Can not be installed on virtual PC with fedora 12 LIVECD

I downloaded fedora 12 livecd from the fedoraproject.com
but when I boot it with virtualbox(I have connected a IDE harddisk to the primary IDE controller but not initialized the harddisk),in the desktop I click the install to harddisk, but after some reading of the CDROM,there is just no response.
anyone tell me why this happened??
