posting with chrome

hi everyone

when anyone posts anything on the forum, one can usually see which os and browser was used. now if I use google chrome (as I am doing right now), the forum seems to think I am using safari. also, it doesn't say I'm on fedora, but only on linux. is there a way to fix this? or do we have to wait for a new version of vBulletin?

thx

I consider it a very low priority i.e I don't intend to fix it

Sheesh Leigh, that's not the attitude of a Fedora developer. You're supposed to worry about important things like that, and not bother with things like spam, posts not getting through, and other stuff that affects everyone. tsk tsk--actually spending more effort on things that matter. Are you sure you're a Linux developer type?

(Grouchily, after yet more fun with pulseaudio and Ubuntu's lovely grub2) yours,

To the OP--I didn't mean to mock your issue, and if it came out that way, I apologize. (I'm actually used to it, as at work, we use an older version of Drupal that also sees Chrome as Safari--I'm not sure how common that is at this point.) It is just that it is, in the larger scheme of the forum, one of the minor issues. Leigh did more than anyone else to curb the spam that was happening, and the forum owes him a great deal of thanks.

Grrr, that adding something as an edit is annoying. Funny how things seem on the other side.
