Question After Nvidia Driver install, cannot activate accelarated graphics mode

Good day and happy new year to everyone!

I have another questio this time dealing with the installation of NVIDIA drivers for Fedora 12. I followed the instructions laid out in the guide:

http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mj...12.html#nvidia

http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mj...idia_rpmfusion

After I inserted the rdblacklist=nouveau at the end of the "Kernel" line in the grub.conf file I rebooted my system and F12 booted up well, with the NVIDIA logo popping up, all seemed fine.

Once in GNOME I went to the control panel and tried to activate the accelerated graphics option. Unfortunately this did not work, I was defaulted back to the default graphics setting.

Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated. thank you.
