MintMenu on Fedora 12

I just finished updating my howto for mintmenu on fedora and figured I would share.

Haven't tried it because I personally hate the Mint menu but I did want to thank you for the time and effort. I would love to see all the Mint tools ported to RPM.

As far as your question on creating RPMs out of the source, there are guides in this forum it should not be too hard. You may even consider submitting the package to rpmfusion.

(you would, of course, have to rebrand them. Maybe call them Linuxdork tools! )

That's pretty cool! I didn't realize that he had an rpm. I really hope this picks up more momentum. I'll have to read some tutorials on building rpms so that I can package things in the future.

I would love to see MintMenu as official Fedora packet or atleast released into RPM Fusion repository.

Fedora based LinuxMint would have huge potential, that is why we are thinking about adding MintMenu to next release of Fedora Community Remix: http://fcoremix.wordpress.com/
