Completely random occurrence this one. I have FC11 installed on my EeePC 1000HE, with no issues at all until now. I had installed a custom Eee-specific kernel earlier, but has since been updated with later kernel revisions. I used it briefly this morning, full wlan connectivity, and left it alone for an hour, at which point it completely shutdown, rather than going into standby.
Ever since, network manager simply reports all networking as disabled, even though it can see all hardware and NICs. ifconfig reports only loopback, and if I try to manually start wlan0, I get a wlan0 interface as well as wmaster0, which I have a feeling may be something to do with one of the VirtualBox interfaces I've setup. However, neither of these interfaces have any TCP/IP connectivity, merely a hardware address and status of packets. Any ideas as to what might have caused this would be greatly appreciated, cheers!
