Find yum package installation location

Hi,

I'm using
yum install libxml2 and it says it's already installed. I need to configure php with the location of libxml2.

Is there a yum command to show me where the libxml2 installation folder is? or any other package example apache ...etc.

Thanks
M.

The is usually not one single folder containing all files from one package, rather, the file(s) are placed in appropriate system locations; to see where the file(s) are, for example:
rpm -ql libxml2

Not yum commands, but

# whereis libxml2

# locate libxml2

# find / -name libxml2 -exec ls -l {} \;
