Windows Xp does not connect in MYSQL 5.1

Hi,

I installed Fedora 12 with package standard of the MYSQL, configured this the same twirling in such a way localhost as in one it schemes with windows VISTA, to put I have others 4 you scheme with windows XP that I do not obtain to have access in the MYSQL. What I have to make pra these you scheme with XP to have access?

Instalei o Fedora 12 com pacote padrao do MYSQL, configurei o mesmo e esta rodando tanto localhost como em uma maquina com windows VISTA, porem tenho outras 4 maquinas com windows XP que não consigo ter acesso no MYSQL. O que tenho de fazer para que estas maquinas com XP acessarem?

You need to configure MySQL to allow remote connections and make sure port 3306 is open in your firewall on Fedora server. For details, read the MySQL manual.

yum -y install mysql-administrator

Applications > Programming > MySql Administrator

Click the users tab, then Change "username@localhost" to "username@%" and MAKE SURE TO SET ROOT'S PASSWORD!
