Today I switched from Network-Manager applet to the plain simple network service in Fedora12. So in the services config I disabled NM and enabled the network service (also disabled the NM applet from autoloading on logging in Gnome). Then I configured my ppp0 device using pppoe-setup. All is fine except there are numerous entries in messages since using the network service, like these:
Code:
pppoe[1549]: Bad TCP checksum 2e30
pppoe[1549]: Bad TCP checksum d4f7
Did I misconfigure anything? I've never seen error messages like that while using the Network-Manager applet. I've a simple broadband cable connection at home, the authentication is done via PPPoE.
