fedora on gigabyte p55 ud4p

hi,

I would like to know whether fedora can run on or support this motherboard.

GA-P55-UD4P with intel p55 chipset.

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...me=GA-P55-UD4P.

This motherboard runs with core i7 processors.

This motherboard has slots for external graphics card.Does it mean that i have to buy a seperate graphics card and connect it to the slots to see something on my monitor.???

Does all these motherboards come with a integrate graphics card by default ?

Please help.

It does not seem to have any internal VGA hardware, so yes, you have to add your own card.

Should be fine, note that the newer version, the GA-P55A-UD4P,
includes a couple USB 3.0 ports, even that would be supported if you used Fedora 12 (the kernel in Fedora 12 added USB 3) but it's very early. I'd wait until Fedora 13 to try USB 3

I installed F11 on one for about 5 minutes, before I wiped it for Windows 7. Worked fine. I even did a "yum update".
