F12 install fully from disk

Hello,

I was trying to install F12 fully from the disk:

My computer has an existing F10 installation.

I downloaded the DVD iso, mounted it locally and copied a file to the root of a partition (/dev/sda5).

I then restarted my computer, when grub showed up I entered the command-line mode and typed in:

root (hd0,4)
kernel /isolinux/vmlinuz
initrd /isolinux/initrd.img
boot

I then got the installer started, asked me for my installation method, I selected local drive, selected /dev/sda5 as install drive and / as directory.

I choosed to upgrade my current f10 installation.

I then got the option to update grub.

After a long time I got a message that: "The installer has tried to mount image #1, but cannot find it on the hard drive".

I have seen a couple bugs in anaconda related to this but they are said fixed in F11 or earlier.

What can I do to solve this issue and install f12?

Thanks

I have gotten this method to work before. My recollection is that you have to enter the
full path name, including the iso file name, e.g., /dev/sda5/Fedora-dvd.iso

Thanks for your help. My mistakes was that I copied the directory structure in the ISO image to the disk. When I copied the ISO image itself it work.
