I run Fedora11 - problem:
I installed rpm and tar blender package. Both have the same problem which is menu drop down fields are not visible. They are simply black, I can't read or see fonts in them, yet action upon clicking executes. So I can select File tab, and would see only gray/black area. It is not the color problem, it is rendering problem, the menu does not display correctly.
