An easy question to experienced Linux users

Hi,

How can I make the invisible folders in my Home directory temporarily visible, like./icons or ./themes, for instance? Something like in windows where you can turn on and off folder visibility. I am asking this because at times I would prefer to navigate to these folders graphically in Gnome, rather than using the command line.

Thanks a lot
mak

Open a window. Under View, select Preferences. Under the View Tab - Check the box that says: Show Hidden & Back up files.

That should do it!
