Changed password, now keyring prompts every login

I changed my password and now every time I login, it says (I would have attached a screenshot but apparently you can't):

Unlock Keyring
---------------------
Enter password for default keyring to unlock
The application 'NetworkManager Applet' (usr/bin/nm-applet)
wants access to the default keyring, but it is locked
Password: [________]
[Deny] [OK]


How can I fix this? Is there a way to keep these in sync or is this a bug?

You change your password using "passwd"?
I *think* that if you use System --> About me --> Change password, it should change the keyring password at the same time.

It might not work if they're out of sync though...

If you run the command "seahorse", you can use that to change the password.

Thanks for the info. I'll try that next time. However, I did some searching and this appears to be an age old problem. I read some older solutions and went with the solution that did:
rm -f .gnome2/keyrings/login.keyring
logout/login
edit the wireless connection in Network Manager and mark it as 'available to anyone' which I guess puts it under root's control.
