No collection on amarok

I recently Installed Fedora 11. The problem I have is that Amarok does not show my music collection. I checked .kde/share/apps/amarok contains collection.files but has no collection.db
I have amarok-2.2.0-2.fc11.i586 installed. I also have mySQL (mysql-5.1.37-1.fc11.i586) and mySQL-embedded (mysql-embedded-5.1.37-1.fc11.i586)

Can someone help me with this ?

Settings->Configure Amaraok
Select "Collections"
Select the directos and the scan options

You may need/want to select "import" rather than just "scan.

well that is what I do.
I have scanned and re-scanned after selecting directories. But that does not help.
To import collection I must have the collection built up ,which I don't have.

Also I forgot to mention earlier that after I scanned the music the collection_scan.files does contain all the files i want but somehow collection.db is not building up.

Problem solved.
I cleared the .kde/share/apps/amarok directory and started amarok with amarok --debug
and somehow the collection appeared this time.
