Broadcom Performance Issues

So i got my broadcom wireless working using the default Fedora b43 and firmware option, and it seems to be working o.k. now, but i've noticed when i first got it running i was getting between 48 and 54 MB/s, but now i only get 1MB/s connection to my router which is a wireless N router, so definitely not the problem there... Besides in XP, and Win 7, i get full 54MB/s... The only thing that i did was ran the system updates, and now it seems like my performance has taken it in the.... Anyway, if anyone has any ideas, please, i'm all ears...
