Just an informal poll... What do ya'll use?

Saw a domain I've been wanting for awhile is available (the fact that it was previously registered was a bit surprising. I'm thinking I'm going to snatch it up ASAP and maybe throw up a few pages there. So I thought I'd ask...

Musts:
* Hosting + domain registry
* full-service LAMP stack (though I'll need 5 db's tops, if that)
* cheap
* Linux! Don't even consider this debatable. (real men host on Linux )

Things that would be nice:
* Email (maybe 10 accounts max)
* subdomains & multiple sites (e.g. I could run a site off of www.mydomain.com and one off subdomain.mydomain.com)
* cheap
* FTP access

So anywho, what do youse guys use?

OK, so I registered one sooner than I expected. Was going to shop around more but some dude at Fatcow managed to talk me into registering an account.

Gotta say getting a plan was kinda impulsive, and I don't have many ideas what to do with it (I do know I'll probably end up putting the family tree up on a subdomain with phpgedview).

I use my ISP's free web-space to host two websites, my own which is a work in progress and one for the local ramblers group. Both are linked to by 1 and 1 forwarding URLs.

The Ramblers website is far more complete and almost flashy, considering my web-authoring tool of choice is emacs.

The ramblers site does have a password protected members area, and several PHP scripts. One of the things I do like about my ISP is that they have a cgi/php server and as well as providing some useful sample scripts, they also allow customers to write their own. Quite a rarity in the current market where most people are going for uber-cheap large ISPs that don't give web-space or even a news-server.

I have used 1 and 1 e-mail forwarding and have set up role based e-mail addresses for each of the committee. Some have more than one role, such as myself having footpaths and webmaster. The idea being is that the forwarding address can be changed when the person doing the job changes, or they change ISP.

I have set up evolution to allow be to send from either of these addresses and when I use them it automatically inserts the legal/charity signature.

Getting the others to use them, maybe I'm being too much of a geek here, is not easy. Some use hotmail type addresses rather than their ISP's POP or IMAP server, never understood that. Most ISPs have webmail for when you need to use a cyber-cafe.

I did try to produce a guide to setting up outlook, but couldn't make it set up a send only account, easy in evolution.

I've got 20 websites (ok, more like 18) with Godaddy, and have used them for about 5 years, and have had the greatest support; delux Linux hosting is 8/9$ per month.
