screen resolution and font size

Hello community,

at the moment I'm working on the following problem:

Just looking on the 1920x1200px display
graca: Nvidia 140M

One LCD and Screen Resolution 1920x1200px - Font Size 5 - It's okay in my opinion
Two LCDs and Screen Resolution 1920x1200px + 1280x1024px - Font Size 5 is not readable - Font Size 7 is neccessary. Everything just a little bit smaller.

Why there is a difference in Display by 1920x1200px with one or two LCDs? How to get the smaller view?
