Fedora reboots before install is complete

total fng here- I am installing FC2 on an older compaq armada 7770dmt. All iso disks check out fine, formatting and partitioning go great, installation runs smooth until about two thirds through when the laptop reboots and I am looking at the installation menu again. I have tried several re-installs and have met with the same results. I expected FC2 to ask for a second iso disk, but it never does. At this point any info would be much appreciated.

Not sure of the motherboard on that laptop, but you should read this howto.

thanks for the welcome... i just finished reading the howto and will attempt this in the morning... the laptop is a pentium so that rules out option 2, and I have no idea if it is an asus mobo, but it's worth a shot. I'll post after I get a chance to try this.
