Hi squirtmph. So, is this an Ubuntu issue? (As opposed to Fedora?)
The reason I ask, is that if it is, this thread should be moved to Linux Chat. (We try to keep ALL non-Fedora specific things there, including CentOS and RH in an effort to give the forums a bit more semblance of order).
If that is the case, don't worry, folks make this mistake all the time, but please clarify if it is Ubuntu.
As for information, possibly the make of the network card, and whether this is wired or wireless, might help. (Though if we're just talking about Ubuntu, it might be better asked on their forums).

No, we send emails when a response is posted. However, you might have to specify that in your user profile. Under settings and options, go to edit options, and the second big box is about email. Check default thread subscription mode. If it already says Instant email notification, then something's wrong--your ISP may think it's spam or something similar.
As Demz says, this is Ubuntu, so I am going to move it to Linux chat.
As for the link, which link do you mean?
Thanks.

Ah, I see. The fact that you're seeing this post means you don't need it. If you go to the main forum section, it lists all the sub forums, including Linux chat, but I left a redirect, so you might not have noticed. If you look at the top of this page, you'll see it's now in Linux chat.
It can be confusing, but anything that isn't Fedora (and that includes RedHat, CentOS and Linpus--though they're very similar to Fedora, they aren't Fedora) will go into the Linux chat section.
At any rate, as Demz asks, this might be better asked in the Ubuntu forums, where, obviously, more folks will definitely be using Ubuntu. (One hopes so anyway.)
If any of that confuses you, feel free to ask, it's late, and I suspect I'm not being as clear as I think I am.
